I wanted to make tomato soup today, but was in a rush to go home for lunch. I absent-mindedly bought these four red beauties from a fruit seller on the street, thinking they were tomatoes.

As you can see from the inside of the one on the far left, they are not tomatoes. What are they? Persimmons? If so, what do I do with them?
