One last note on the Wuhan trip, because I can't resist.
In China, KFC is huge -- over 1,000 restaurants are currently operating here, which is far more than McDonalds. All my students tell me they love it, too. The country can't get enough of the Colonel and his chicken.
Given the debate that has raged over China and, um, copyright issues, I was
pretty amused to see this restaurant operating on more than one street corner in
Wuhan. According to H., it's a 24-hour delivery restaurant with decent Chinese
fast food. No chicken, though.
