Hi everyone — just a note to let you know that I
have been experiencing technical difficulties since
Monday (8/29), which is why I have not posted. This
post is courtesy of a friend who has access to the
site.
I have a number of photos of the unbelievable dishes
that I have eaten since I've been here -- they are
just waiting to be posted. Among the most memorable
have been fried mutton chops with pepper flakes and
chiles, roast pork with smoked, dried bean curd, and
sweet and sour fried winter melon. Yesterday, I had
frog.
